Tenant users

See all users across every company in your tenant — add new users, invite colleagues, and impersonate any user for troubleshooting.

Tenant users

The Users tab (Tenant Settings → Users) lists every user across all companies in your iApprove tenant. This is the tenant-wide view — use it when you need to manage users without navigating into a specific company.

Only tenant administrators can access this tab.

User table

Each row shows:

Column Description
Name The user's display name
Email The user's login email address
Last login The most recent sign-in time (date + relative)

A small impersonate icon appears on each row (except your own).

Adding users

Add — Creates a new user account in the tenant. The user receives a welcome email with a temporary password and is prompted to set up MFA on first login. You choose which company to add them to and their initial role.

Invite — Sends an invitation email to a colleague. They click the link in the email to create their own password and are automatically added to the specified company.

Impersonating users

Clicking the impersonate icon (disguised-person icon) next to a user opens a confirmation dialog. After confirming, you are signed in as that user for troubleshooting — you can see exactly what they see and reproduce reported issues.

Every impersonation is recorded in an audit log. You can end the impersonation by signing out, which returns you to your own account.

Relationship to company users

This tenant-level list shows all users across all companies. To manage a user's role, approval limit, or company membership, navigate to a specific company's Settings → Users tab.
